DASS Tech Set to Launch 125kW Inverter, Targeting Commercial-Scale Solar Market
October debut planned – Advanced Korean technology promises world-class performance
Equipped with 12 MPPTs, 24 input channels, and GMPPT functionality
Expected to maximize generation efficiency while reducing O&M costs
[Seoul, NewsPim] – Korean solar inverter specialist DASS Tech announced on the 25th that it has completed preparations to launch its new 125kW solar inverter this coming October. The company described the product as a “game-changer” that could reshape Korea’s commercial-scale solar inverter market, citing confidence in its technical maturity and innovation.
The new model is strategically aimed at the 100kW to 1MW segment, particularly large commercial buildings and mid-sized independent power producers, where Chinese-made inverters currently dominate. DASS Tech plans to disrupt this market by leveraging fully localized technology.
Developed entirely in Korea, the 125kW inverter incorporates 12 MPPTs with up to 24 input channels, ensuring optimal performance across diverse site conditions. It also features GMPPT (Global Maximum Power Point Tracking) to minimize output losses under shading or soiling conditions. An integrated IV curve scanning tool enables real-time detection of generation anomalies, while a proprietary output control algorithm ensures stable operation even under rapid load fluctuations. Together, these features significantly enhance both system reliability and operational safety.

According to the company, such advanced capabilities deliver direct, tangible value for solar plant owners. Operators can monitor generation efficiency and detect irregularities “like a health check-up chart”, enabling both higher energy yields and lower maintenance costs. In addition, per-channel monitoring and high-efficiency control algorithms drastically reduce fault response times—further improving the overall customer experience.
“This product is more than just an incremental upgrade,” a DASS Tech official commented. “It is a solution that directly translates into lower operating costs and improved profitability for plant owners. Features such as per-channel monitoring and advanced control algorithms will greatly reduce downtime and enhance customer satisfaction.”
DASS Tech already holds the No.1 cumulative sales record in Korea’s solar inverter market, supported by a nationwide network of 11 distributors and 5 dedicated service centers. Leveraging its strong position in the 50–100kW segment, the company aims to use the new 125kW model to expand aggressively into the mid-to-large-scale commercial and utility-scale market.
Under its Vision 2030 strategy, DASS Tech is targeting a 25% domestic market share (1.2GW) by 2030, while also strengthening its global presence. “We are actively moving beyond Korea into North America and Southeast Asia,” the spokesperson added, emphasizing that the 125kW inverter will serve as a key springboard for global market expansion.
